Last Night of the Proms Waterfront Concert

Join us for our very own Last Night at the Proms, which will be held  in the Lakeside Lodge & Spa Amphitheater. The Proms are quintessentially English and the term prom is short for promenade concert which was original a garden concert. 

George's sixty person symphony orchestra Carpe Musicam, which consists of musicians and singers, will come together to make this an extravaganza to remember. Special guest Richard Pane will be joining Carpe Musicam on stage with his bagpipes. 

Expect all the old British patriotic favorites as well as classics and semi-classics in line with the repertoire of the original event. In addition to the musical delights, there will be an outside bar, craft beer bar, wine bar, and station for other beverages.

  • Children (aged 2 to 12) R100 per person

Booking and prepayment essential.

Flags, balloons, and party poppers are all welcome.   

Fancy dress is optional from dinner jackets to patriotic t-shirts.

Gourmet picnic baskets can be preordered and paid for in advance. Each basket includes one bottle of Matilda’s Secret Red, White or Rosé wine. The baskets options are either meat-based or vegetarian. Please ensure you select the correct basket when booking.
